Matkahuolto is again the most valued parcel service brand in Finland in 2024

According to the annual Brand Valuation Survey conducted by Taloustutkimus and Alma Media, Matkahuolto is again this year the most valued brand in Finland in the category of courier, parcel, postal and transport services. We also ranked in the top three in the Travel category.

According to the survey results, respondents consider our Parcel Services to be the safest compared to other brands in the same industry and to offer the best value for money.

In a changing world, our operating environment is also in a constant state of flux, and as a result, consumer demands on the industry are increasing. As competition intensifies, it is great to see that our investments in product and service development, brand and customer experience are reflected in an even greater appreciation among our customers.

Especially in Parcel Services, we have succeeded in claiming our place in our customers’ minds not only through our actions but also through strong communication. Our investments in marketing communications are clearly reflected in the results,” says Olessia Kozlova, Director of Marketing and Communications at Matkahuolto. “Although the performance of our Travel Services in the Travel category was below expectations this time, the overall results are good. Needless to say, we are determined to hold on to the number one position in Parcel Services and will also work towards a better ranking in the Travel category.

This year’s result is a valuable indication to us that our forward-looking development efforts are in line with our customers’ expectations.

Good ranking also in Travel Services – customer satisfaction needs most improvement

In Travel Services, our ranking fell slightly from the previous year, and this year we are the second most valued brand in Finland in the Travel category. The result reflects Matkahuolto’s brand value, while being indicative of the industry’s transformation and increased competition.

We will keep developing Finland’s leading ticket shop and pay special attention to improving the customer experience to ensure that we remain a trusted travel partner for our customers. We will continue to listen carefully to our customers’ wishes in both Parcel and Travel Services and develop our services in the long term.

The Brand Valuation 2024 survey investigated the valuation of 683 brands among Finns. The survey was conducted in April-May 2024 and its target group was Finns aged 15-79 nationwide, excluding the province of Åland.
