Matkahuolto makes it quick and easy to get the right bus ticket for your travel needs. Download the handy Trips and Tickets app on your phone from your app store or buy an eBus ticket from our online ticket shop.
Single tickets for non-recurring trips
A single ticket is best suited for non-recurring trips and occasional travel. You can easily buy single tickets in advance
from the online ticket shop, where you can buy an eBus ticket.
Please note that the existing Bus Tickets app will be discontinued on 30 June 2023, when the sale and top-up of travel cards at stations, agents, R-Kiosks and buses will end. After that, all Matkahuolto ticket products will be available for purchase in the Trips and Tickets app.
Season and series tickets for regular travel
For regular travel, the cheapest and most flexible regional or national season and series tickets are available in the Trips and Tickets app.
Nationwide series tickets, Buspass and Stored value card are suitable for domestic travelling.
Regional season and series tickets have been transferred to the Trips and Tickets app, and ticket sales on travel cards has ended.
Tickets for schoolchildren and students
Secondary school students who are entitled to a school transport allowance from Kela can travel between home and the educational institution or on-the-job learning site with a subsidised school trip ticket.
Tickets for primary school pupils will remain on the travel cards for the time being.
Value card
The value card is intended for use by passengers who do not have access to the Trips and Tickets app available on the mobile phone.
The value card is valid until 30 June 2024.
