Easter Memo ─ check the Easter timetables
Easter is celebrated from 29 March to 1 April 2024. The public holidays will bring changes to bus timetables and the opening hours of Matkahuolto’s customer service and service points.
This year, the transition to daylight saving time will take place over the Easter weekend. Daylight saving time starts on Sunday 31 March 2024 at 3.00 a.m., when the clocks will be turned forward one hour. The transition to summer time will affect the timetables of night-time long-distance buses.
Check the timetables and buy your tickets in advance
Easter is one of the busiest travel periods of the year. You should therefore check your timetable and buy your tickets in advance.
All Easter timetable information, including public holiday exceptions, can be found on Matkahuolto’s Trips and Tickets app and online at www.matkahuolto.fi.
You should enter the exact date of travel in the timetable search, so that any exceptional services are covered.
Timetable and fare information can also be checked by calling Matkahuolto’s customer service at 0200 4000 which is open 24/7. The call charge is €1.98/min + local charge.
