Group specific tickets

You can also use the app to buy tickets which are only available for certain groups of users. A code is entered into the app to display tickets or get a discount on certain tickets. The customer ordering the ticket product determines which group of users is entitled to buy the ticket.

Applications and examples:

• The customer’s own ticket product (single, season or series ticket), which can only be purchased by certain users.

• Percentage discount on tickets for users with a code.

• Users can purchase tickets from the app for €0 and the tickets will be billed according to the purchases.

Riihimäki a pioneer in mobile ticketing products

The City of Riihimäki digitalised tickets for comprehensive school pupils and secondary school students as early as 2021. The old cardboard ticket was moved to the Trips and Tickets app. After two successful school years, the City of Riihimäki has also introduced an employee ticket for city staff in the Trips and Tickets app. In both cases, the ticket products belong to the City of Riihimäki and can only be used with a code.
